The investment fund BUTLER CAPITAL PARTNERS and AXA PRIVATE EQUITY, the main shareholders of AUTODISTRIBUTION (FF 6.8 bn turnover in 1999), the French and European specialist in the distribution of spare parts for automobiles, have made a friendly bid for the British firm FINELIST (annual turnover equivalent to FF 4.2 bn, with a workforce of 6,000) at £1.92 a share.
