12/09/2014 (Agence Europe) - Lithuania attends its first Eurogroup meeting. Lithuanian finance minister Rimantas Sadzius said upon arrival at the first Eurogroup meeting to be attended by his country (as an observer) in Milan on Friday 12 September that more than half of Lithuanians support the switch to the single currency in January 2015. He explained that one of the reasons for the reduction in Lithuania's growth forecast from 4.3% to 3.4% of GDP was Russian sanctions. (MB)
