On Monday 30 July 2012, the European Commission gave the go-ahead to the plan by OAO Lukoil (“Lukoil” of the Russian Federation) to buy up all of ISAB S.r.l. (“ISAB”, Italy). Lukoil is active in oil and gas exploration, and production, production and sale of refined petroleum products and operation of petrol stations. ISAB runs an oil refinery. (OL/transl.fl)
