20/06/2011 (Agence Europe) - EP budget committee approves EU aid to workers made redundant in Denmark. The European Parliament's budgets committee, on Wednesday 15 June, approved aid of €20,429,316 from the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) for 1,775 workers in Denmark, made redundant by two firms, LM Glasfiber and Odense Steel Shipyard. The EP plenary session vote is planned for July. The Council of Ministers of the EU approved the aid on 30 May last. (L.C./transl.fl)
