05/05/2011 (Agence Europe) - Second student plenary on 6 May. On Friday 6 May the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) will be organising a plenary session of young students and their teachers from EU member states. One hundred and fifty secondary school students will be divided into three different groups (employers, workers and general activities) and will debate and adopt an opinion, which they may decide to amend on the “Youth on the Move” programme, which is aimed at helping them find a job. This is the second plenary (the first took place in 2010) and will be chaired by EESC Vice-President Anna Maria Darmanin. During their three-day stay in Brussels, students will also take part in open-days at the European institutions. Information: http://www.eesc.europa.eu (G.B./transl.fl)
