19/07/2010 (Agence Europe) - The European investment Bank (EIB) announced in a press release published on Monday 19 July that it is no longer involved in the Gibe III hydroelectric project, as the Ethiopian government has found alternative sources of finance. The Bank, however, reaffirms its strong interest and commitment to supporting the East African energy sector. (O.L./transl.rt)
