19/02/2010 (Agence Europe) - As reported in EUROPE 10077, Croatia opened two new negotiating chapters (the Environment and Fisheries) in its EU accession talks at an “Accession Conference” in Brussels on Friday 19 February, bringing to 30 (of 35) the number of chapters now open. Seventeen chapters have been provisionally closed. The aim is to conclude the negotiations this year. (H.B./transl.fl)
