Britain's ROLLS-ROYCE has announced the sale of its division that produces precision components for the aeronautics, automotive and industrial gas turbine markets, namely VICKERS TURBINE COMPONENTS. The buyer is the private investment fund RBPE -ROYAL BANK PRIVATE EQUITY-, a subsidiary of ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND, which will be paying GBP 74 million and will be taking over almost all the units located in the United Kingdom and the United States, which have a total workforce of 1,220.
