Timetable for 2001 - Swedish Presidency's programme at first January session in Strasbourg - Six sessions in Brussels

Brussels, 03/01/2001 (Agence Europe) - The first plenary session of the European Parliament in 2001 will be held from 15 to 18 January inclusive in Strasbourg (it will be recalled that there will be no Friday morning sessions in Strasbourg this year). The Swedish Presidency will be presenting details of its programme for the next six months at that time (for more on the press conference by the new EU Council President, Anna Lindh, see EUROPE of 16 December, p.5).
