MEPs voted overwhelmingly in favour of the two recommendation texts on the EU and New Zealand trade agreement tabled by Daniel Caspary (EPP, German) on Tuesday 24 October, in the Committee on International Trade (INTA).
This agreement will eliminate 100% of New Zealand’s customs duties on EU exports when it comes into force and 98.5% of the EU’s customs duties on trade with New Zealand after 7 years.
