French AUCHAN and the largest private Moroccan group ONA - OMNIUM NORD-AFRICAIN have signed a partnership agreement for the development of retail distribution inMorocco. AUCHAN will acquire, with this aim, 49% of the COFARMA holding (turnover 1.651 billion dirham in 2000 with 6 hyper-stores called "Marjane" under its control), the fully owned ONA subsidiary.
