Strasbourg, 16/01/2001 (Agence Europe) - After years of trials of strength with the European Commission, the European Parliament has welcomed the efforts made by the European executive for improving its management, with the adoption, during Tuesday's plenary, of the resolution proposed by Dutch Liberal, Lousewies van der Laan on the follow-up of reforms requested of the Commission by the EP, when it granted it discharge for the 1997 budget one year ago.
