Strasbourg, 16/01/2001 (Agence Europe) - On the eve of the plenary debate, the President of the political groups were questioned, during their traditional Tuesday press conference, on the stance that will be adopted by their group with regards to the "Balkans syndrome". All of them underlined the need for an in-depth investigation, but only the Green/ALE and GUE/NGL groups are openly in favour of a moratorium or even a ban on depleted uranium arms.
