Europe’s ‘climate election’, listening to voters’worries in 2024 is key to the green transition - by Brieuc Van Damme

The new year brings a critical moment for Europe’s move to net zero, with the EU elections in June. As voters fret about rising bills, leaders won’t win them over to clean energy by talking down to them. Our research shows that if green policies are seen to be fair, then Europeans will rally behind them.
