On Thursday, 21 December, the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) welcomed and recognised the usefulness of the ‘Winter Outlook’ produced by the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E) in analysing electricity savings and gas volumes.

The purpose of the report is, in fact, to assess the risks related to electricity supply in the summer and winter. The outlook for winter 2023–2024 indicates that the European power system is...
