Green light for Spanish aid worth €400 million to help farmers pay certain insurance premiums

21/12/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 21 December, the European Commission announced that it had authorised a Spanish State aid scheme worth €400 million, notably under Article 107(3c) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. This scheme will help agricultural producers pay insurance premiums to cover the risk of damage to crops and livestock.
