First European Parliament debate on ‘CMDI’ proposal to strengthen banking crisis management framework

The MEPs involved in the negotiations on the ‘CMDI’ legislative package aimed at strengthening the framework for managing a banking crisis (see EUROPE B1314A7) want to move quickly in their deliberations so as to arrive at a position for the European Parliament in early December, with a view to concluding negotiations with the Council of the Union before the end of the current legislative term.
