The Council of the EU presented its position on the draft adoption of the EU budget for 2024 on Wednesday 13 September at the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg, following the European Commission’s proposal presented on 7 June (see EUROPE B13196A13).

This adoption of the budget for 2024 is part of the overall revision of the 2021-2027 Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) on which the EU Council and Parliament have yet to reach a formal decision (see EUROPE...
