Council of Europe Justice Ministers clarify functioning of “Register of Damage” suffered by Ukraine

Meeting on Tuesday 12 September in the Latvian capital, Riga, the Ministers of Justice of the Council of Europe’s Member and observer States adopted a Declaration setting out the arrangements for the operation of the “Register of Damage” caused by the Russian Federation’s aggression against Ukraine.

This “Register” was created last May in Reykjavik, on the basis of a partial agreement extended to third countries, concluded at the end of the 4th Council of Europe Summit.
