EU Solidarity Fund, Member States approve €718 million in aid for seven Member States

04/11/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 4 November, the ambassadors of the EU Member States (Coreper II) approved the mobilisation of the EU Solidarity Fund (EUSF) to the tune of €718.48 million to help European countries affected by natural disasters in 2021. Germany could therefore benefit from more than €612 million, Belgium from €87 million, the Netherlands from €4.7 million, Austria from €797,000, and Luxembourg from €1.8 million for flooding.
