EU increases humanitarian aid to displaced Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh by almost €1.7 million

31/10/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 31 October, the European Commission announced that it was increasing its humanitarian funding in Armenia by almost €1.7 million in response to the “massive influx” of people from Nagorno-Karabakh. Around 100,000 people are thought to have fled to Armenian territory after the region was taken over by Azerbaijan.
