Regulators ask ACER for more time to agree modified method for calculating “day-ahead” electricity generation capacity

On Tuesday 31 October, the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) announced that the National Regulatory Authorities (NRAs) of the ‘Core capacity calculation region’ had requested on 24 October a three-month extension to reach agreement on the second proposed amendment by the Transmission System Operators (TSOs) to the methodology for calculating ‘day-ahead’ electricity capacity.
