Commission requests information from Meta and TikTok on measures taken to stop dissemination of illegal content online

Just under a week after X (formerly Twitter) (see EUROPE B13271A13), the Commission sent, on Thursday 19 October, requests for information to Meta and TikTok concerning the measures they have put in place to stop the dissemination of illegal content online, in accordance with the provisions of the Digital Services Act (DSA) (see EUROPE B13262A9).
