Economic security and agreement with Mercosur on agenda of informal meeting of trade ministers

The trade ministers of the Member States of the European Union are meeting on Friday 20 October in Valencia, Spain, for an informal meeting. This should enable progress to be made in negotiations on trade agreements which have run into difficulties in recent months (see EUROPE B13265A31).

The agenda for the meeting will be packed: the ministers plan to discuss a number of points relating to European trade policy and the various agreements still under negotiation, notably with Mercosur,...
