EU Council invited to sign economic partnership agreement with Nairobi

02/10/2023 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission officially sent the text of the agreement between the EU and Kenya to the EU Council for ratification on Monday 2 October, 3 months after the conclusion of negotiations (see EUROPE B13204A10). This was made official by the Commission in June, a year and a half after the start of discussions between the two parties. The agreement should facilitate access for Kenyan exporters to the European market by abolishing tariffs and quotas....
