European Union’s Employment and Social Affairs Ministers preparing to adopt message on development of social economy

The Ministers for Employment and Social Affairs, meeting in Luxembourg on Monday 9 October, are expected to reach political agreement on the draft recommendation on developing social economy framework conditions, and the Member States’ ambassadors, meeting on 4 October, will clear the way for this agreement.

However, due to translation delays, this recommendation, presented in June by the Commission (see EUROPE B13200A16), can only be formally validated as an ‘A’ item by the EU...
