Connecting Europe Facility, 13 projects submitted to European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency

On Wednesday 13 September, the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) revealed that it had received 13 proposals for cross-border infrastructure projects, representing a funding request of €1.86 billion.

These proposals are submitted under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF Energy), which has a budget of €750 million.

The CEF aims to promote works and studies to deploy Projects of Common Interest (PCIs) on trans-European energy networks. These...
