MEPs call on European Commission to present animal welfare proposal

07/09/23 (Agence Europe) – In a letter sent on Wednesday 6 September to the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, the European Parliament’s intergroup on animal welfare calls on her to ensure that the revision of animal welfare legislation is included in the Commission's work programme for 2024.
