Glyphosate, a study by PAN Europe and Greens in European Parliament, warns of massive contamination of waterways in EU

Glyphosate is a source of widespread contamination of Europe’s waterways, warned PAN Europe (Pesticide Action Network Europe) and the Greens/EFA in the European Parliament on Tuesday 5 September, when they published the results of a study into this pesticide and its metabolite, AMPA. The Greens/EFA and the NGO took this opportunity to call for a ban on this total herbicide, which the Commission is likely to authorise this autumn (see EUROPE B13231A22, B13226A7).
