EU agri-food exports back to April 2022 levels, according to European Commission

After record exports in March 2023, EU agri-food trade slowed in April 2023, according to the latest monthly report on agri-food trade, published on Wednesday 26 July by the European Commission.

Overall, EU agri-food exports remained at €17.8 billion in April 2023 due to higher export prices, while EU imports amounted to €13 billion, giving an agri-food surplus of €4.8 billion.
