On Wednesday 26 July, the ambassadors of the Member States to the EU agreed to strengthen sanctions against Belarus because of the situation in the country and its involvement in the Russian aggression against Ukraine.
“The measures include lists of people and entities”, said the Spanish Presidency of the EU Council on Twitter.
The measures would also include an embargo on firearms, their parts and ammunition, and a ban on new dual-use goods.
