Nova Kakhovka dam breach, EU sends 500 electricity generators to Ukraine

28/06/2023 (Agence Europe) – In response to Ukraine’s request for assistance following the partial destruction of the Nova Kakhovka dam, the EU is sending 500 electricity generators, announced the European Commission on Tuesday 27 June. The generators, ranging in power from 12.5 kVA to 1,100 kVA and worth a total of €16 million, come from the Polish rescEU stockpile of strategic equipment. They will be used to repair critical infrastructure such as water pumping stations and...
