Parliament calls for measures in favour of young farmers

Strasbourg, 22/01/2001 (Agence Europe) - By adopting the report by the British Conservative Neil Parish on the situation and prospects for young farmers in the European Union, the European Parliament invites the Member States to foresee a minimum level of aid towards setting up. The investment aid should also be increased. It also hopes that the early retirement system be improved. In order to create a favourable climate to maintaining youths in rural areas, the Parliament calls for efforts...
