At the European Defence Agency’s annual conference, Belgian Defence Minister Ludivine Dedonder outlined her country’s defence priorities for its Presidency of the EU Council, which begins on 1 January.
“The EU has a duty to assume a global strategic role, not just political or economic, but also military”, she explained, stressing the importance of strengthening defence capabilities.
