EU concerned about irregularities observed during Mozambican municipal elections

30/10/23 (Agence Europe) – On Saturday 28 October, the European Union noted “with concern” post-election reports of “irregularities” in the recent municipal elections in Mozambique and deplored the deaths of two people during demonstrations contesting the election results, according to a statement by the spokesperson for the European External Action Service (EEAS). It is calling on the Mozambican authorities to respond to these reports in order to ensure a “satisfactory and...
