Nighty-two tonnes of humanitarian aid arrive in country

30/10/2023 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission has announced that on Monday 30 October, an EU humanitarian airlift landed in Herat, bringing 92 tonnes of essential supplies to help people affected by the earthquakes that hit Afghanistan earlier this month. The EU donated 57 tonnes of the shipment from its own stocks in Dubai, including blankets and wintering kits for tents.
