Humanitarian air bridge for Gazans – EU coordinating six additional flights to Egypt

A new flight in the EU humanitarian air bridge, taking off from Denmark, was due to land in Egypt on Friday 27 October carrying 51 tonnes of medicines, medical products and UNICEF school supplies for the people of Gaza, the European Commission confirmed at midday.

This shipment is in addition to the 56 tonnes of humanitarian aid previously delivered to the Gaza Strip via Egypt (see EUROPE B13280A1, B13275A25).
