Human trafficking, European Parliament ready to negotiate with Council of EU

On Wednesday 18 October, the European Parliament validated without a vote its position on the directive on trafficking in human beings and wants to include new crimes such as forced marriage, illegal adoption and surrogate motherhood for the purpose of reproductive exploitation (see EUROPE B13265A11).
