European Parliament and EU Council are struggling to make progress on issue of agricultural geographical indications

The parties were unable to overcome their differences on Tuesday 10 October, which shows that inter-institutional negotiations on the issue of agricultural geographical indications are struggling.

The next trilogue will take place on 24 October in the presence of the European Commissioner for Agriculture, Janusz Wojciechowski, and the current President of the Agriculture Council, Luis Planas.
