In wake of deadly earthquake, new flight in EU humanitarian airlift has landed in Kabul

09/10/2023 (Agence Europe) – In response to the powerful earthquake that struck western Afghanistan on Saturday 7 October, killing more than 2,400 people, the European Commission has announced an increase in humanitarian aid for vulnerable populations in a country that was already facing a major humanitarian crisis before the disaster.
