European Commission releases €7 billion for key infrastructure projects

26/09/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 26 September, the European Commission launched a call for proposals under the ‘Connecting Europe Facility’ (CEF) for transport. More than €7 billion is available for projects to create, modernise and improve European transport infrastructure on the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T), which involve rail, inland waterways, maritime or inland ports and roads. The projects selected will help the EU to achieve its climate objectives....
