Josep Borrell reminds Amir Abdollahian of Europe’s concerns

20/09/2023 (Agence Europe) – The High Representative of the Union, Josep Borrell, reminded Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian of the EU’s concerns at a meeting in New York on Wednesday 20 September. According to a European External Action Service press release, Mr Borrell expressed the EU’s strong condemnation of the arbitrary detentions of numerous EU citizens in Iran, calling for their release. He also reiterated the EU’s position on the “very concerning” human rights...
