European Commission will again monitor imports of renewable ethanol

15/09/23 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 15 September, the European Commission published an implementing regulation in which it announced that it would be monitoring imports of renewable ethanol (or bioethanol) retroactively for the last 3 years. Bioethanol imports have increased significantly between 2021 and 2023, according to provisional data from the Commission.
