Future consumer rights for green transition—hope for European Parliament/EU Council agreement on 19 September

Negotiators from the European Parliament, led by Biljana Borzan (S&D, Croatian), the Council of the EU and the European Commission will meet again on the evening of Tuesday 19 September to negotiate “to the finish” the March 2022 proposal for a directive aimed at empowering consumers in the green transition by making informed choices at the time of purchase (see EUROPE B12922A4).
