Valdis Dombrovskis hopes to obtain a new mandate to “continue work begun” in next legislature

30/08/2023 (Agence Europe) – In an interview with Latvian public television LTV Ziņu dienests on Tuesday 29 August, the European Commissioner for Trade, Valdis Dombrovskis, announced that he would “like to continue the work we have started” in the next parliamentary term on reviving the European economy and supporting Ukraine, “if Latvia and the EU give him this opportunity”. The former Latvian Prime Minister, who was also an MEP, has been working for the Commission since 2014....
