The EU Council’s Working Party on Financial Services and the Banking Union will meet on 4 and 5 September to try to make progress on the legislative package on the Retail Investment Strategy presented by the Commission on 24 May(see EUROPE B13187A21).
Member States will seek a common approach to the issue of risk warnings in the information provided to retail customers when a product is particularly risky.
