On Monday 31 July, the European Commission launched a consultation on the model description of consumer profiling techniques that gatekeepers will have to apply to their main platform services under the Digital Markets Act (DMA) (see EUROPE B13215A3).
Through this consultation, the Commission is seeking comments from stakeholders on the draft model presented, which should serve to improve the transparency and accountability of profiling techniques.
