BEUC welcomes European Commission’s proposed regulation to remove endocrine disruptors from toys

31/07/2023 (Agence Europe) – The European Consumer Organisation (BEUC) welcomes the proposal for a regulation on toy safety presented by the European Commission on Friday 28 July as “a milestone to protect the health of children” (see EUROPE B13232A3). According to BEUC and ANEC, this is a “groundbreaking” proposal, in that it proposes to ban endocrine disruptors in toys.
