HERA brings EU industry together to discuss solutions to potential antibiotic shortages

Following the adoption of recommendations aimed at guaranteeing an adequate supply of antibiotics, on Thursday 20 July the European Commission, via the EU Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority (HERA), took immediate follow-up measures to ensure the availability of essential medicines in cooperation with the industry.

The HERA Board met with industry representatives to discuss antibiotic shortages and the secure and continued availability of these medicines.
