Provisional EU Council/European Parliament political agreement on key elements of European Digital Identity Wallet

On Thursday 29 June, after 9 hours of interinstitutional negotiations (‘trilogues’), the Council of the EU and the European Parliament reached an agreement on the key elements of the future European Digital Identity Wallet (‘eID’) (see EUROPE B13210A17).
